As a stop gap,the EK4 Civic 1.6 Vti is OK

Runs out of steam around 115mph but will eventually get to about 127mph

For darting about town it's very handy

When it comes to corners = UNDERSTEER

They look nice with 17" OZ Super T's on and there's lots of bits to play with as regards mods :)

I'll try and find a piccy of my old one

Ah! HERE THEY ARE

It did with the original 15" s as well.

I was speaking from experience with both, when pushing on,car would head left when taking a right hander in the wet.Roundabouts especially.

But that's in the wet...

I have to disagree there, the Civic has good handling, it is very good for a standard (non Type R) car.

The Civic 1.6 VTi is an amazing car when you think about the power, it has 158bhp from a 1.6 so it is the most powerful 1.6 N/A car sold in UK :D

Bear in mind I had the Civic after 2 DC2's and then an S2K.

It was bound to feel like understeer everywhere.

mainly all bodykit mate as i was only 18 at the time. Only engine mods were a cold air induction kit and and a HKS exhaust, and the suspension was full adjustable coilovers.
