Hey guys a bit of news for you all. Prices just out for 2007 Civic type R!
Base Model £17,600 otr-no aircon!
GT Model £18,600 otr
Gt Model includes Dual Zone aircon, Cruise control, Auto front wipers, Auto headlights, Fog lights, Refrigerated glove box, Curtain airbags, Power folding mirrors and Vanity mirror lights.
GT model a must for the extra £1000

Isn't it quite expensive compared to most of it's rivals?

I don't like them that much, not to keen on the build quality compared to older Jap built cars. They aint to bad to drive, very european, comfortable with alot of room for the overall size of the car.

I think the value is quite good!
As for build quality, I think it keeps getting better all the time wether the cars are jap built or uk built! I wouldnt say my DC5 was any better or worse built than my brothers CTR! My s2000 felt really well put together though!

im a bit dissapointed with the performance figures tho, its practically the same stats as the EP.

You forgot dual zone bum warmers, radar guided ash tray, maccy D hook with warming lamp, giant pair of novelty sun glasses for the wind screen and mind reading gear change and steering.

All of this is avalible as extras and with all of them only weights slightly more than a small Jovian Moon.

obviously the GT model's extras are for who want them :roll: it's not as if you HAVE to get a GT model, get the base without all the extras (doesn't have AC though)

the civic looks nice,if i was getting 1 it would have to have air con so would prob go for the gt, the only thing that would bother me is that if they are as popular as the ep civic type r then they will be everywhare. i like drive something i dont see every day hence the dc5 :wink:
