215/45 vs 225/45 ?

Well I got my Federel RsR's in today in 225/45/17
Since the standard tyres are 215 should I get the same performance
Should have really asked before I ordered

unless your a pro racing driver looking to extract the max out of there car, then no you wont feel a difference

slower acceleration due to bigger circumference, 1.965m for a 215 vs 1.993m for a 225, no real difference in grip

are you using these tyres on oem dc5 wheels? if so do they fit ok and do they catch on the arch due to being a bit wider? im thinking about getting some.
