225 45 17 on standard suspension

Found somewhere which sells the Yokohama Neova AD07 but only in 225 45 17.

Does anyone know if these will scrape on standard suspension? as I've read they can scrape on lowered cars.

Mine is lowered on springs, when I had my 225/40/18 on they scraped the arches. You should be fine with 17's and standard set up.

But remember the 17" tyre you are after is a 45 profile so has a slightly bigger sidewall :wink:

I would be interested to know this too as the new RE070 tyres come in that size

Me too, I wanted the 070's, still, I may get some on a spare set of rims when I get round to it. Keep us posted :!:

hmmm didn't realise the 070's where in that size thought they were 18s, I'll have to try these instead
