Are Kwik fit able to fit tyres now without taking a chunk out of the wheels?

Had a bad experience? :-"
Didn't realise people had good experiences at Kwik Fit

Knackered rims and brake fail, never again. Many years ago.

Do they still have lifetime warranty on brake pads?

Don't know I've never been to Kwikfit, just thought it would be fairly cheap. May give it a miss now though

The prices at places like Kwik Fit, National Tyres and many of the big chains are usually still higher than some of the smaller independent places even with their supposed discounts, I just don't trust Kwik Fit as they seem to be there to prey on the gullible motorist, someone goes in for a couple of tyres and they end up coming away with new brakes and exhaust because "We just had a look at them whilst fitting your tyres and they could do with replacing, shall we do it now for you"....... yeah right

Things may have changed, but i doubt it.
