that is a piece of art, not a manifold (sorry header, its my age !)
does'nt look to strong though, not much meat on it, nice all the same 8)

Inconel is Air Craft grade steal, so is very strong and has extremely good thermo properties....

So is an idea / best material for a manifold / header...

It's used on F1 cars for example!

curious about the shape of the 4-1 tail section, bit of a venturi effect going on there, can't remember seeing one on an exhaust before.
as for the grade steel, we use similar material in gas turbines, they cope with 600-700 deg c all the time.
just for interest sake what is the cost of this beauty :?:

I seem to remember seeing this header picture over a year ago somewhere. From a post about the SEMA show in the US, possibly.

I guess you need pretty stiff engine mounts if you don't have any fexible section on the header.

The price is going to be about $3200 or thereabouts. Though it is not going to be sold to the masses. One can purchase the required pieces from Burns Stainless and have an experienced welder put it all together
