9PSI on Type R K20A?

Has anyone done this?

I have the JRSC on my K20A Im pushing 6.3PSI and 262WHP..Thinking about 9 PSI on the 11:5:1 Compression?

There isnt a Aftercooler out yet..so thats outa the question.

I dont wanna do water/methanol injection..

But it has all stock internals.

Anyone?

I think that you should wait for Jackson Racing to release the aftercooler rather then upping the boost. It may prove to be just as effective in releasing more power. Your engine internals will also love you for it.

i no a few people who have gone the 9psi route and have no trouble with it so far, i think there is even an 11psi out now!

Oh well, you try to help some people by PM etc......

I will state very clearly........

The JR super charger (or Eaton type it basically is) is only good for low Boost..... they are not designed to run at high rpm, after a certain rpm they wont produce more power, all they do is make lots of heat....

Even though I have a IC conversation, I'm considering my opinions, this includes lowering the power output.... currently 6.7psi inlet manifold, looking to knock this down to 5 > 6 psi......

At the end of the day, people are treating K20 engines as a disposable comdity :roll:
