Just taken a policy with A Plan, £995 for 243bhp declared (full Toda exhaust, GruppeM intake, K Pro ECU), Spoon springs (-25mm), non-standard alloys, £14,000 value. 29 y.o., 2 years NCB.

Not bad I thought, I was paying nearly that for my DC2 with Bell (full exhaust, Unichip, intake, gauges, rear strut, worth £9000).

A-Plan have just sorted me out with deal for £885.00. I'm 24 5yrs no claims (protected) with all mods declared. Mugen exhaust, air filer, strut braces and aftermarket alloys.

Very happy with that :D :D :D

just got a quote from A-Plan.

DC5 2001, 3yr no claims, 3 points, good postcode, 26 years old.

£680 fully comp, £350 excess. How good is that!

Down from £1200 last year

The main problem was most insurance people need to go away and check before they come back to you with a quote. Problem is they hardly ever get round to calling you back. So actually getting the quote was a little tiring.

BTW AFlux was 1500GBP, way off the mark.
