So I had an accident and just made a claim with Aplan. My 4yrs no claims will be reduced to 2 years no cliams.

Also my renewal was due with A

07/07/2006 - Got the teg and got Aplan insurance at 900GBP - 26yrs 3yr NCB
28/06/2007 - A-Plan quoted 700GPB for the renewal on the 7th
30/06/2007 - Had a crash
02/07/2007 - Report claim and check on the renewal - told the quote will go to 1250GBP

04/07/2007 - Got a quote from Sky for 1000GBP - not bad i thought

am with sky on my dc2 and they only want 100 pounds more for moving onto a dc5. am just 22 with 2 years ncb.

wich would make it 1700 per year. wich i think is good for my age etc.

I'm insured with A plan, and did have 10 years protected ncb, but had an accident in the s2000, so a total loss :( As I'm mid term my current policy cost a total of about £800, I'm wondering what it will be next year as the claim will take effect, also the fact I'll be old man 32 next year, I'll be gutted after all these years my insurance will be so much, I'm thinking worst case £800. I was worried a claim would completely scare off any other insurer, so glad I at least have two options next year :)
