ABS light on

My ABS light was coming on and off. If I stopped the car and restarted it would sometimes switch off. however this week it's on and wont go off. Any ideas what it could be before I take it to the garage ?

Without trying to sound funny, it'll be an ABS sensor or the ABS control unit which isn't happy.

My ABS light always comes on when I hit 100mph (on private land obviously!). When I start the car the next day it goes off straight away. Is it similar to this? Anyone else have this? Happens pretty much every time

Sensors are about £50 2nd hand on ebay so new ones wont be cheap. Can they be cleaned ?

I would absolutely give them all a clean up before spending out.
