Accord wheels on dc5

I am looking to buy some cheap alloys to put my winter tyres on. I wanted EP3 wheels but the tyre place insisted on 225 tyres last year as I have 8j wheels (I think) and I think the EP3 wheels will be too narrow for 225.

I have found some cheapish accord wheels on eBay with 225 tyres on but unsure about offset etc.

Has anyone put accord wheels on before?
Does anyone know reliable place with a list of all honda wheel specs? I found US site but not that clear.
Any other OEM or cheapish wheels that would work? I believe my current offset is 42 so needs to be around that I guess

What‘s the width of an oem ep3 wheel as im running 225 square on oem dc5 rims with no issues at all?

I think EP3 wheels are 7j which I think are just too narrow for 225...

It is a shame as there are loads of EP3 wheels around fairly cheap.

Although just read on pneus site that 7j can have 225 maximum... So maybe I need to stop worrying!

I am presuming OEM wheels (EP3/dc5) would fit over the yellow speed bbk!?!

DC5 is 7j and I‘m running 225/45/17‘s no issues as do many on here mate

That‘s ep3 alloys running 225/45x17 on my car and I also did a track day with these. Hope this helps

Yeah normal size on a 7j is 215 and max you can run is 225 (it‘s my square setup for track mate)
