I have been with Admiral for years. Their multi car is great as it makes it easy to insure both me and my dad.

They are happy to insure both of us with modified cars and of course the DC5 being an import.

I did go with Adrian Flux once, never again. When I had to make a claim it was a nightmare and so many other companies involved. Whereas Admiral, its just Albany Assistance who deal with everything. Excellent customer service too.

Admiral always try and get me the best price, including with my GFs CRZ (She has her own policy though)

They only charged us £30 extra each to cover the modifications and they do offer other great services like key cover, courtesy cars etc.

Yeah ok they do keep you on the phone to ensure you get the best deal from them and have to read you alot of stuff but after 8 years of Insurance shopping for both me and my dad then my GF too using Money Saving Experts guide to cheaper car insurance. Admiral have always come out on top (Or Bell/Elephant or Diamond but Admiral always match them being the same company)

For me, its about getting the cheapest quote with the most reliable company who do help you when you do need to use your insurance and Admiral win every time for me.

I have had quotes from Sky - Excellent chap I spoke to there but it ended up being a slightly better deal at Admiral.
Never spoke to Prestige so could not comment.

Wouldnt touch Adrian Flux with a barge pole

I've been with Admiral since I started driving, they gave me a good price on my DC5 (I swapped over halfway through my previous cars policy) and the renewal is coming up in January so I'm expecting the renewal letter any day now - hopefully it's what I'm expecting... or better :) otherwise I'll be searching for new quotes.

Another one for Admiral, had my renewal through but got quoted £275 less on comparison sites and they matched it and then knocked a extra £60 off!

Which comparison website recognises dc5?

Id be happy to look at a quotation for your when your renewal comes up. We are really competitive on DC5's and also have specialist policies that pay out a correct value when a total loss occurs....A lot of mainstream insurers dont have the DC5 listed in their value guides so payouts can be scarily low if a total loss occurs.

We can also cater for modifications if you wanted to add any.

If you wanted to drop me a PM when your policy is due i could get in touch personally and run a quote through for you, it will only take 3-4 minutes and might save you a decent amount over your renewal.

Kind Regards
Neil
