Guys, just wondered if you was looking at a DC5 would you let the fact that its not got C pack put you off? The few questions i have as im looking for a DC5 soon:

1) Does no rear wiper make parking harder when its raining? Never had a car without?

2) The red recaros/carpet look really nice but do they have a tendancy to get dirty really easily?

Hoping to join the DC5 crew by new year
:D

The red is a must imo, but depends on the colour of the car.

C-Pack is also a must, the rear wiper is pointless, but the fold in mirrors are surprisingly handy and looks good when you press the button.

Also C-Pack can help with the resale of the car, when I was looking I defo wanted a C-Pack for instance.

I thought the C-Pack with a few options, so I think mine has some of the C-PAck stuff but not all, i.e. Chrome rims around the air vents.. I could be wrong. I think it looks much cleaner (lines) without the rear wiper.

Its a difficult car to park with or without the wiper

I've got black Recaro's and I think they age/look much better

c pack is only a few extra options but ADDs extra weight to the teg.  didn't get a teg with c-pack as its 2 less electrical system that "could" go wrong and plus save on a few pounds in changing the rear wiper every year. hehe About the electric mirrors, its not all that extra work to wall round both sides to push them in (get to spend abit longer with her!). About the tints, just got to love the limo black windows.

Red is a biatttch to clean especially if you spill coffee over it.

I did want a C-pack when I was looking, but what made me choose my car (no options!) was the fact it came properly tricked-up with all the expensive bits I would have done already on it. Much more important than folding mirrors!

I do miss a rear wiper a bit, but not as much as I thought I would and it doesn't seem too bad even in slow-moving traffic.

My experience of DC2s with black interior and now my DC5 with black (did want red when looking) is that the red gets dirty a lot quicker and hence ages more. Most cars you'll be looking at will be earlier cars so at least three years wear - by the time you come to sell it, things could be pretty mucky.

Having said that, if the precise car I bought hadn't come along I would've waited for what I was originally looking for (black or white, red interior, C-pack).

For me C pack was a must, I would not buy one without the rear wiper. When it is raining heavy and the windows are misted it helps visibility a lot.

The rear wiper is useful, I often use it to clear the window if it has been sat outside in the rain, when moving it isn't really needed but can still be handy to have. I love the tints too, would definitely have those again. The folding mirrors are cool to have and I do use them, but you could live without them.

So I would say yes, it is worth getting the c-pack.

I preferred the red recaros but i thought it would get dirtier sooo much quicker than black.
How do you guys find sourcing parts for the DC5?

Mines not a C-Pack

However, i still have tinted rear windows, HIDs and folding mirrors 8)

The only thing i am missing from the C-Pack is the rear wiper. Which IMO looks poo

How about part sourcing....? A friend of mine said it can take up to months to source parts :?

Most of the stuff can be sourced with a few days, same as a CTR.

Same old thing really

People with C-Pack think its great people without dont.

Personally i wanted a C-Pack and everything that comes with it i find useful and adds to usability of the car, simple as that.

A car with a C-Pack will be worth more than one without but whether it makes a difference to you is dependant on if you will need the features.

My opinion on C Pack is, it's good to have but by no means should you turn away an excellant example because it doesn't have C Pack because none of the stuff is essential.

Folding Mirrors = Bling (U can do it yourself)
Rear Wiper can be handy but you can use Rainex
Tints look good but if you want them you get them tinted at anytime from a specialist

The rear wiper is a must, esp in heavy rain, the tints are a must in my opinion, and most DC5s come with them, the mirrors are a good feature when parking but you could live without them.
