Aftermarket exhaust manifold question

Trying to do my research on after market exhaust manifolds and I was wondering what implications on the MOT it will cause fitting one.
The few that I have seen eliminate the cat converter.
Has anyone had issues with their MOT and a different exhaust manifold?

Friendly mot station or some people swap it for oem one.

Pretty sure my exhaust emission readings are from a Nissan Micra.

This year mine was a vw corrado, last year it was a puegeot 206

Technically, it will fail on emissions. Its highly unlikely to pass a cat test...without a cat.

You can have a sports cat, think its 200 or 400 CEL people use. Or you can swap it out every year. Or you can become friendly with a tester.
