Aircon missing?

Hey guys, recently purchased a DC5R and I saw today that in the engine bay the hose that connects to some sort of A/C unit is just free and unattached to anything. What must i buy to get the A/C running, it is AUS spec so i think they are meant to come on the car.

That may be the drainage hose for the condensation that forms in the system which I've not noticed on mine but have read other posts where people have mentioned it. If you have the air con pump there (pulley under the alternator and to the right and up a bit from the big crank pulley) and you have the pipe that runs from front to back of the engine bay just to the right of the rocker cover (covered in insulation foam) then you have air con. If it's not working it may just need refilling?

Yes, that's an AC pipe missing.
