There is no way that my already half slick Goodyear F1's are going to last more than three laps in that temperature. Doh!

Spin time :?

Top day!!! Good to see you guys there. I can't wait to see the tripple DC5 battle video footage from the last session (especially the off track drift bit) :)

Check out the other thread Jonny.... Castle Coombe Vid

Oh PS ... told Tom that you wanted to keep his ECU... won't say what he said word for word, but something on the lines about legs breaking etc  LOL

Anyway he can get you one if you want one so maybe you should talk to him..

I also asked him about the wheels again... he isn't happy ... but nothing he can do ... I wouldn't mention them again to him if I was you .. when they come, they come...

Gutting, I know...

Good to meet all the new faces and the regulars again.

Think my tuition slowed me down(excuses) :(

Good job too, after my sighting lap on my own and a nice pirouette after Camp corner.

Anybody see my Alonso "one finger wave"??

Sunburnt to death again 8)

Nice to see Paul made it there for his last day.

Where next??

What a top day that was - once they gave me the green light!

Lesson 1 - Start off slowly and gradually fizzle out
Lesson 2 - Try not to reverse through high speed corners - particularly on my first lap
Lesson 3 - Try to avoid sharp bits that might deflate my tyres quickly
Lesson 4 - Try to avoid sharp bits that might deflate my tyres - again
Lesson 5 - Try to stay on the grey bit and off the brown/green bits
Lesson 6 - Remember the suncream
Lesson 7 - Take an hour-and-a-half cool-down lap on the way home

Thoroughly enjoyed my last full day of DC5 ownership thanks to all concerned. Great to watch the Pros and be the Ams. Good to meet up with all you guys again (and Trung and Towns for the first time). I hope you don't all ignore me when we come across each other again - and we will

Got a bit lobstered myself too.

Paul - We fully expect to see your super-charged VR6 bad boy on the track very soon. You can gloat over how cheap the mods are for it too.

Mark - Saw Tom yesterday lunch time and reluctantly handed back the N1. I tried not to mention wheels but the subject came up again and you know the rest (he's was not happy). He's got in a DC5 short shifted now that looks good. We'll have to wait for him to fit it to his to see if it's any good.

Simon - Good to meet you mate. I still can't believe your Spoon 4-2 has made you car so loud. Mine read 85db's on the static test.

I'm seriously thinking about Cadwell. I need wheels first. Doh!
