Hey guys,

Im looking at getting some alloy wheels for my Teg but I am a little lost on the ET and which would be best for the Teg

Would these fit?

Size: 9.5×18″
PCD/Stud Pattern: 5×114.3
Offset: ET10

OR would arch work be requested?

Cheers

No chance unless you get a wider arch kit of some sort with a decent amount of camber. ET10 Is very low. That's a nissan spec wheel.

If you want a wider wheel try and look for around 9/9.5J with et between 40-50. That should be a good enough spec for a dc5, but even then you might get some rubbing. But if you're after 18's that might be an additional complications.

The site below is quite handy with wheel fitments to compare existing to potentially new wheels set ups.

The arch work required for that size rim would be to remove them all together...

Edit:

Though I do have 10.5x18 et15 on mine :)

Cheers guys

I have had a look based on your recommendation and they do offer this:

18x9 +33 I‘m guessing that would be better??

Honestly no idea I‘m open to that
Just didn‘t know if I was wasting my time/money to get the wheels I wanted in my head

Your arches are wider than the m4 though ;)

I think most 9" wheels less than et40/45 will require arch work.
Even more so being 18's. Which leads me to next question, why 18's?

Totally agree with this. Without talking about 18's. On standard arches 7.5" et45 with 225 tyres was mm away from the rear arch. Any wider or lower offset would have needed an arch roll.

Ideal sizes / offsets are

7.5" wide - 45-50et
8.0" wide - 48-50et

It seems to vary from car to car though

I'm et 48 on 8j and still 215 tyres.

Fit is spot on, but like already said, that's the limit before arch work needed.

I'm on Mugen suspension too, so not overly low.

I've ran 17x9 +37 on front and 17x9 +45 on rear with stock front arches and rolled rear lip without scrubbing on 245/40/17 sized tyres. but any lower offset than that up front will require spacing the arches out or new wider arches.

The wheels I wanted only come in 18s or 19s. They only make 17s in America it appears which sucks.

Thanks for all the advice tho guys
