Bit of a random one which im confused by
I have a Pioneer SPH-DA120 headunit and a Kenwood KSC-SW11 under seat subwoofer
The woofer i have requires the remote switch wire to tell it when to turn both on and off
The subwoofer works fine and switches on as it should but there is constant 12v power even with the car off so it seems its not switching off
Ive tested the remote wire with a voltmeter and there is 0V with ignition off and then 12V with ignition on so i know the remote wire is working correctly
I have also disconnected the remote wire, and the subwoofer does not work so it seems its doing its job as it should there
Anyone shed any light?
Ive had this subwoofer in 3 different cars and never had an issue with it turning off
