Annoying vibration from engine

They aren't amazingly refined these cars, but I know what you mean with some bugging you. could be the ivtec cover over the manifold, (mine rattled) could be an engine torque damper as described above? Trouble is there are so many possibilities of what it could be, if you are anywhere near another teg owner or specialist whose driven many to getbtheir opinion, your only real option is to keep on hunting, and trying to het to the bottom of it.

Does it sound like engine bay area or dashboard area?

It's deffo engine area, I've had the manifold cover off as I've had this problem on both my previous EP3's but that didn't work, you can see the tensioner shake as the knocking noise starts. I'm going to take aux belt off and check all pulleys to make sure they are free running properly etc, I hope it's nothing to do with the timing chain tensioner or something as obviously the crank pulley drives the aux belt. It's horrible and makes the car feel nasty to drive, our lass hasn't noticed it but it drives me mad lol

run it for a short time without the belt on to eliminate belt, pulleys, tensioner

Sorted it peeps!! It had the wrong size alt belt fitted. It was a 1715. I've fitted at 1705 and the noise has gone. Well happy. Thanks for the input guys
