Another Headlight Thread

I replaced my headlights for MOT in late November, but over the last few days, the passenger light has started flickering randomly. Not on every journey, but at least one in three. It sometimes flickers out and sometimes flickers and stays on...

They are 8k bulbs...

i have tried to check what connections i can and things seem fine.

im guessing the ballast is on it's way out....? just get a new set of ballasts off the bay?

Sounds like a ballast. You will need a new oem ballest or wire in a new hid kit aftermarket one.

i've seen links to ballasts for way cheaper than that but there is of course the uncertainty as to whether they are real or not....

could anyone provide a link that they know isnt a cheap fake?
