set of this morning at 7 and i have driven to london and back and had a little ride around the m25 picking up some stuff,
ive done 670 miles, and used 82 pounds worth of fuel at 106.9p a litre how many miles to the gallon did i get?

I got it to 39.6 mpg.

The calc in the link above got it to 39.7 mpg

so i reckon it was 39.65 mpg

this is the reason why i posted haha, been driving since 7 this morning been from blackpool to manchester to the m40, m25, m11 ack to manchester and back to blackpool my brain is fried! and so are my lights by the look of it!

wasnt even really going slow either???? wasnt going stupid but still!!!! just kept it below 4.5 before the v-tec kicks in.
only really used v-tec in the tunnels in london!!!!!!! oooohhhh britain needs more tunnels i felt about 6 again

39 almost 40 mpg is very good imo.

mine is much better since kpro a few years back, while on a ring trip a few years ago we even managed 400 miles out of a tank (all steady motorway tho and no vtec)
you can't fault that kind of economy in this kind of car, try getting that in a focus rs

I was wondering about this after i put my Toda manifold on. It smells like its running really rich so cant wait to get the K-pro on and give it a good dyno run.

Must be the combination of the intake aswell. :|

Manifold and intake will make your car run LEAN not rich :!:

The smell is most likely due to the lack of a CAT

Putting stock ECU on instead of KPro has ruined my economy. I struggle to get above 30mpg now. Can't wait to I get it all mapped again.
