hey, anyone got a ''how to'' on changing the exhaust manifold? is this a big job? :shock: cheers in advance :D

no how to's although there may be one on club rsx in the usa.

its technically pretty easy but allow a reasonable amount of time, you wont do it in an hour. the bolts can be an arse to undo between the cat and mani and the nuts/studs between the manifold and head can also be difficult,
douse everything with wd40 and go have a cuppa, you will need to have the car fairly high as it needs to come out from underneath.

cheers mate, how high are we talking here? trolly jack be ok? its just a fresh import so hopefully they shouldnt be too difficult to undo lol .

Is that a joke? Because it wont make the slightest bit of difference :lol:

Just to add to what Si said, remove the heatshields first to make things easier. Also, you'll have to drop the anti roll bar IIRC.
Trolley jack height will be fine but axle stands WILL be needed too, as your whole body will be under it!!

Yes it was a joke lol. Ok cheers for the help guys. Ordered a bc header and pro spec muffler. Will let yous know how I get on lol. :xcheers:
