Back box fittment

I currently have a modified Blitz Nur spec-R back box from a skyline fitted to my dc5. Makes a great noise, like nothing I have ever heard before, but even with a baffle in it, it is still going to leave me with long term hearing damage!! So I am looking for a replacement back box to go only teg. I have found the usual spoon, buddy club etc but I was wondering if a back box from a honda civic type r ep3 would more or less fit straight onto a DC5........? Anyone know or have any relevant thoughts for me?

Ep3 back boxes will require modifying to fit, the dc5 backbox is longer.

Ah ok, so not just a case of cutting/bending the hangers to get a closer fit, the actual pat itself is a different size?

im after a backbox for my car anyone, got any suggestions for something that gives a deep exhaust note but isnt going to deafen me

Get a custom one if you want a deep sound, or a Kakimoto Regu 06R

This is a short clip of mine,

It's a 2.5" custom made back box with a standard b-pipe. It was done by a guy in Anglesey in North Wales.

It's got quite a deep tone but any custom specialist exhaust maker could do one to your liking. Alan at Solid Fabrications in London is supposed to be excellent and has done lots of Honda's.

Works out shipped with Fed-Ex priority international (should have it in about a week I guess) £601 before customs

I can't wait for it to arrive, I'm at sea still till and in Germany till end of this week so in no rush for it but would be nice when I get home for it to arrive a few days later all being well.

Just woke up to an email from Japan, Kakimoto have a back order for the Regu and cant be shipped till 31st July.

Offered me a refund but i said i don't mind waiting and to ship it to me when available

Yea I don't care about the £. Get what you pay for and all that.

I'm expecting a couple £ for customs aswell. Not sure what that will work out to be.
