Hi,

Just plugged in my kpro and uploaded the k20a-itr.kal calibration .
The one with the twinloop , toda header and injen cai.
Thing is when driving i could hear the engine changing notes at about 3800 rpm, i then looked at the vtec point and lower boundary is set at 3800 rpm at 96kpa and the higher boundary is set at 5500 rpm at 30kpa.
Does it mean that it fully engages at 3800 at a certain gaspedal position?
I find it a little early and would like to put it higher up really.
Or would i just leave it there?

Any help?

Thanks

Leave it there, mine is set to 4000 with complete tune. These engines provide more power in the mid range on the higher cam than they do on lower cam, you should also notice it only changes on to higher cam at those revs with 40-50% throttle position so when your cruising you won't be on high cam. I've seen vtec cross over points between 3400-4800 on mapping depending on each individual mods

it changes over to high cam at part throttle , not full throttle.
If it was at full throttle i really wouldn't mind though ;)
i haven't tried giving it the beans at 3800 rpm but at part throttle the note already changes
I'll just leave it then, i already knew fuelling , etc need to be changed but maybe it just needed minor adjustment :)
