BC short shifte problem

I have a Buddy Club short shifter which has part of it broken off. If you look at the following pic it is on the right hand side on the silver rod at the back and looks like something should join it to the rod coming from the spherical part at the bottom of the shifter arm

If you conpare it to a new BC shifter you can see the difference.

Can anyone tell me if I can use the part from my oem shifter to repair the broken shifter. I don't want all the hassle to remove the centre console and shifter it it's different or not possible to replace it.

Hello,

I am 99% sure you can use the OEM part there.

The BC short shifter only makes the shift shorter in the one drirection IE fom front to back.

if you want me to take a detailed pic of my BC shifter, let me know. or even a measurement from that or the oem one!

I have a BC shifter and my oem one in my garage side by side...

Doubt any more pics would help as it's pretty obvious from the one's I have where the problem is. I just wondered if anyone could confirm that the broken part can be removed from the oem shifter and put on the BC shifter.
