I've been a little quiet for a while on here, got the problem solved now!
On the way home from Brands at the beginning of the month, got about 10 miles from home, came off a roundabout and went into boost.....since then the car had a high idle at 2300 rpm :shock:
Just a tad high....
So these past few weeks tried a variety of things to find and solve the problem.... but with no joy :cry:
Was told by my 'new tuner' to hunt for a vacuum leak. So after looking for the obvious and still no joy prepared to remove the super charger today and reseal everything with new gaskets etc......
I then find a bolt missing on the underside of the inlet manifold... hence the high idle issue....... So a 5 pence bolt has caused me a nightmare of a month :roll:
So to say, I'm now back and running ok......

BTW, I think my car maybe featured in another mag this or next month as a project car :wink:
