Best Gearbox Oil uprated diff

Bought dc5 owner told me its uprated diff whats the best gearbox oil to use. I normally use Honda mtf 3. Any sugestion? Cheers

Don't the diff manufacturers specify certain oils? So depends what it is.
I think some invalidate the warranty if the wrong oil is used.

Thats the problem it came from japan with uprated diff and the last owner doesnt know what diff it is.

interested in peoples opinions here. likewise my car has an aftermarket diff, previous owner reckons it was a cusco put in by the guy before him but he was wrong about a few other things on the car so it could be anything!!!

recently changed my oil with mtf3 and the box does seem to be louder than before. i though it was just me being paranoid, this thread isnt helping!!! haha

I have uprated diff and I changed with mtf3 a few months ago as i couldn't decide what to put in
