What do people use on the plastic trim on the exterior of the car to bring it back to life? Surrounds of door mirrors, pillars, bottom of windows, Wind deflectors....have tried the turtle wax nanotech product but it doesnt seem to work. it recommends continued application (every day for a week or so) but i've tried that too and it just seems to fade back in no time.

:xhelp:

Megs APC is good for the cleaning of that sort of thing as its strong enough to clean it, but not so strong it will damage the paint around an area.

But as for making it go black again, not sure.

Autoglym bumper care......
I use this on the lower black plastics of my CR-X, it does a great job at reviving them. It needs to be reapplied every month or so though.

I actually use Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care:

Only costs about £5 and does the most amazing job on almost anything! Dash, Rubber, Vinyl, you name it, needs re-doing every so often.
