Bonnet Release Cable

Hi folks,

We'll eventually got the car back after 20 months with the tuner. Spent ALL day yesterday cleaning the inside as was moldy and stinky from laying about for near 2 years.

Went to start the engine bay and had to close the bonnet to move the car and then the bonnet wouldn't open again..

Long story short, absolute nightmare had to get front bumper off and grill by wedging my hand in under the bonnet that wouldn't open.

Found the problem may be the release cable as I only recently changed the lever mechanism so it's only a few weeks old.

What I am requesting is if someone would kindly take some pictures of how their release cable is routed?

Want to make sure I put the new one back in exactly as it should be.

I was looking into this,
there's a diagram in the RSX owners manual.
I think you have to take the drivers side wing off for replacement.

Mine seems to be suffering from the same symptoms as yours to be honest was going to tackle it at some point soon let me know how you get on!
