Is it normal not to have even brake pad wear?

I took my pads out last night to clean the brembo's and I noticed the outside of the pad (the edge closer to the outside of the disc) has worn down slightly more than the inside edge. The discs have worn evenly though and I don't having any braking issues (apart from squeeking from the J's discs  )

No body knows? :-k

How about a cheap place to source some DS2500 or unblemished 1144's?

Could just be the pad compound.
BIG differneces in heat between the leading edge and the trailing edge.

Paul G user on here can get you some 1144's

Ill check my recently changed pads this evening and see if they have worn unevenly.

Cheers mate!

What pads did you remove and what did you change them to?

Project Mu's to 1144's ....

Similar in bite levels so far, I have pushed the 1144's on the road and no fade same as the Mu's .

I had a quick check on the wear was even. What pads have gone cheese wedged? Oem or aftermarket?

Thanks mate. I've got OEM pads with J's disc.

I have done 2 track days in them and never had any problem or fade

Not supprised after a few trackdays theyve gone abit cheese wedged as there not designed to cope with the heat generated. Upgrading them would be your best option.
