Would it be possible to fit a sports cat on the buddy manifold where it goes from 2 into1,just wondering as i am thinking about buying one but cant be bothered with the swapping about at mot time and thought this might be a way round it.

Yep, anywhere would be better then chopping a £700 header up 8)

No i wasnt going to chop it up was thinking about getting another y peice made and weld in a cat into that with a flange so all you have to do at mot time is let go of the 3 bolts at the flange where it goes on the bpipe and slip it out of manifold and put on the one without the cat after its tested or it could be left in.im asuming that the y peice does slip out where it attaches with the springs.
