some of you may remember my post about fake takata harnesses - purchased from JapanDNA in Manchester.

it now transpires they no longer exist as a company, ceased trading, dissolved, whatever. so, i would be very cautios of any other small business starting up in that area with a guy called Tony at the helm.

they dealt with engine conversions too - some unhappy customers to be found on the civic sports club forum.

im now out of pocket as unfortunately i cannot start criminal proceedings against some one who doesnt appear to exist.

Bad luck there matey. I know its hard to see a good point from all this but at least it was just some harnesses. I know they are not cheap but it could have been a lot worse. I saw a few traders on the Supra forum do some terrible things which literally cost quite a few owners thousands of pounds :(
Unfortunately there are some dodgy people around.

That sucks the big one - unscrupulous traders = scum.

Will you be confident that the harnesses are up to the job, or bin them?
