Buying a Southern Irish DC5 and bringing it to England!!

Hi,

I have seen a DC5 I'm interested in but it is based near Dublin ish.

Basically does anyone know what is involved and how I'd go about it?

The car is still clocking up in Kilometres too so I'm guessing I need that sorting?!

Do I have to pay any sort of import tax or duty considering it is already in Europe.

Ive been banging on about this for a while here, there's good value in ireland compared to the uk and plenty to choose from.

You wont have to pay vat or duty but all the usual import criteria regarding registration and getting it sorted for uk roads will apply. im sure some uk guys will know better. Best of luck with it!

i reckon you'll have to do the same stuff that you would if you brought it from japan, but you'd have to convert it to mph, fit fog lights and change from hids for the test you's have over in england.
have you got a link to the car if its close to where i live i could go have a look at for yea
