CAI Owners - Question?

I was just looking at the front of my car after fitting my spoon socks which took ages, lol.

I have a CAI arriving v.soon and i take it i have to remove the brake ducts to get the CAI to get cold air??

Anyone noticed any difference with this? I use my brakes alot, hard so dont want to ruin the performance, if it does at all.

i used an injen for a while and did a couple of trackdays with, never noticed any difference in the braking, i still got fade on both sides till i upgraded them with hoses, fluid and paul g's discs then i never got fade ever again, tbh you may find that one of the clips is missing from the ducts anyway adn so not doing its job properly

i had an AEM CAI and didnt notice any difference at all, i launched both brake ducts.

I have fog lights where the brake ducts are. The first trackday I did I left the fogs in and the brakes faded after 5-6 laps. The second time I took the fogs out and didn't fade nearly as much.

I don't think a CAI will block it as much as fogs though.
