No insurer will be able to beat £252 on a DC5 that is an AMAZING price. I thought Sainsbury's had stopped insuring the DC5?ND1989 said:It is time again to renew my car insurance for the Teg.
I have gotten a quote from a few places with Sainsbury's being the cheapest at £252.
If any of you think you can match/better this please pm me.
Thanks.
I just changed my policy from DC5 to a new DC5 and they processed that for me albeit very rudely at SainsburysNeil@Greenlight said:No insurer will be able to beat £252 on a DC5 that is an AMAZING price. I thought Sainsbury's had stopped insuring the DC5?

WOW that seems crazy high based on your details above. Id be happy to help with a quotation if you needed should come in a lot lower than what Sainsbury's have quoted.dc5ian said:i got a quote of 740 from them
8 years no claims
32 years old
clean lience
driving lience for 10 years plus
I can happily help with a price mate at 26 with 9yrs NCB it should be a fair bit less than £700Jimmer said:I try sainsburys every year just for a nosy really and as above, quoted well over the £700 mark.
Good postcode, clean licence, 9 years, no claims 26.... I just don't get how people are getting them so cheaply?!?!
I lnow many people have questioned the reliability of sainsburys and it seems legitimate but I still wouldn't want to go through a claim with them...ive seen on this forum the fiasco one member has had with a so called specialist! Lol dread to think how sainsburys would deal with it.
But thats a very good price, doubt you'll beat that tbh. If it all checks out and your happy go for it
I've tried every year, I'm around the £500 mark with Keith Michaels. nothing against you guys, I used to drive the car daily so more than 10000 a year and that's what let your prices down. Now I'm not using it daily when my insurance comes up I shall try you again. Will be less than 7k a year easily now.Neil@Greenlight said:I can happily help with a price mate at 26 with 9yrs NCB it should be a fair bit less than £700
Drop me a PM with your contact number and i'll get in touch and run you a price.

When I filled out the online quotation it came up as 1998cc. My job is also a pretty low risk job so that has an impact as well. The closest I got to it was flux at 400.Rom said:I spent a coup to days trying to better Greenlight last year.
Mainly as I want track cover, and they won't cover my local track, combe.
Closest I could get was £80 difference, but more per track day than I can get stand alone cover.
I gave up and stuck with Neil for the second year
I got crazy quotes from Keith, think was around 7-800. Flux were 480, Greenlight were 399 I think.
Max pays around 500 I think from Keith, but Flux wanted 800. I was vice versa! I It seems hit and miss who quotes who what.
All I've heard about Sainsburys, is that they list as a 1.8?
For me, I'd rather pay the tenner a month more (if it's even that) and go with someone who knows their cars and mods.

No, it's referring to the DC2....which ours isn't. Calling up is the best policy.antstarr said:Hi mate,
I tried to have a look on there and I have 10 years NCB. They quoted me 670, also checked that it only displays for the 1.8 integra when I tried the online quote is that correct?
