Afternoon guys!

My name's Matt and I'm hoping a few of you awesome guys can spare a couple of minutes to help complete a poll?

When your beloved Honda requires some work, whether it be servicing, repairs, upgrades or anything else...

What are the 5 key factors that help you decide who works on your motor?

Thanks a lot.

Cutz.

Hey Topgeezer,

yeah kind of, the business is having a change of direction and I'd rather find out what true-Honda lovers want, rather than telling them!

I've been a Honda-enthusiast for many years owning, Preludes, Accords, S2000's, Civics...but have never had the pleasure of owning a Teggy :-(

I do however have a little K20 beast-of-an-EK-Civic ;-)

All opinions matter.

Cheers dude!

Good luck with that then mate ;) good garages are far and few, always room for another. Your main problem will be being time served against the few others that most of us know on here but you have to start somewhere :)

Happy to add some input as I've had a few different manufacturer motors and use different garages, but more recently I'm happy with my go to. Although doesn't get 100% of my business

Specialising is difficult as niche
Think about the main stream competitors, I can think of a handful that people mention here

For me, I like the service to be personal and value for money. One specialist lost some of my business because they charged for everything!

As above would travel miles for a good garage.

Main thing for me is that not just the owner but all staff have a high level of knowledge and skill about mechanics.

Nothing worse than going to a garage as you hurd the guy that owns it is the knows his stuff, but when it comes to their appreciate is the one working on your car ect.

If I go to a garage I go to TGM. It's 2 hours each way for me.
The knowledge Tom has is great. You know you are on good hands and he will happily chat to you about any concerns or issues. I've even spoke to him on the phone for advice and then not visited him for ages.

This is the key for me. Knowledge then followed by customer service

+1 for TGM, I went there and took up maybe 30-45 minutes of Toms time for him to diagnose a noise - no charge for that and he put no pressure on me to get TGM to fix it.

I personally don't take it anywhere, like to do it all myself, have the tools to do it. And on Every job i gain knowledge, have to start somewhere. Don't like anyone in my car or working on it. Sure there are Some good garages, but in the netherlands there is noone specialized in honda's
