Cam Cover Paint Cracking

As above when i was topping my oil up over the weekend i noticed the paint was cracking :xmad: ](*,) ](*,)

Is this a common thing?

Mine just is just starting to peel off a bit just above the intake manifold on the left hand side, think it must have had a knock perhaps when the RBC was fitted and some water got under it in the big freeze?

Good excuse to get Brencivic to do you a new one
