Can an Arc intake be made easily?

Just looking at the ARC intake and it seems fairly straight forward , has any body tried to make one up , can somebody post up inside and outside photos for these, if its straight forward then ill get a fabrication lad to make one up

I know ollydc5 made something up himself and I'm sure it was based on an arc. I asked him for some pics ages ago but he forgot to get back to me. He may have some if you pester him

If you can weld aluminium, then yeah it probably wouldn't be that hard with a bit of time and patience.

Saying that there's no reason why you couldn't make it out of stainless.

Edit: However making the intake part where the pipe mounts to wouldn't be easy i'd imagine.

But you can anodise aluminium B)

Why not? just make sure it's done well, it's basically a box with a few holes in! As are most kits.
