Dont laugh but I haven't had a really good explore under the car yet :D

Can anyone name each part of the system for me, pics would be good too.

I imagine its a manifold (4-1?) then cat, then mid section, then back box.

Im getting confused by B pipes, and aftermarket 2-1 pipes etc.

Thanks!

Standard is 4-1, cat, mid pipe, back box.

The Spoon setup is 4-2, 2-1, b-pipe, back box.

As far as I'm aware the Spoon manifold is the only one that splits down into 4-2 and 2-1. The B-pipe is widely regarded the best mid pipe available for the DC5.

That's incorrect - you're describing the UKDM CTR system there.

This has been covered a few times now, see the link I posted above :)

I reckon that too much emphasis is placed on the b-pipe.

Yes the Spoon b-pipe is well put together and is good design with a 60mm boar but it really won't make much more than 1 or 2BHP unless you're pushing 250+BHP in which case you'll need to be running a Toda header to maximise the potential. Plus it hangs too low even on a minimal drop (25-30mm).
