Carbon (Synchrotech) vs OEM Synchros - What other parts to change while inside the gearbox?


Hi guys,

I'm about to take down my gearbox after having some ongoing issues with second gear. I believe the synchros (and possibly the sleeve) are gone.

I am trying to decide whether to replace ALL the sychros and if so, carbon synchrotech or genuine Honda. I don't track the car but I do drive it "road fast" as some of you guys say on the forum.

What other parts should I be aiming to order and change while i'm in there? Is there any complete list of the bearings which can and should be changed?

I already did clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, release and pilot bearing some months ago, but then the shifting into 2nd gear issues developed.
