Hi,

two days ago i fitted my exhaust. Drove for about 400 miles with no problems. Today all of a sudden (when driving really spirited) my CEL comes on. So i immediatly slow down and carefully drove home not knowing what was wrong. I diagnosed the CEL and it came up with code 41. O2 sensor right? but it's weird because i still have my cat mounted. Already resetted the code but came on again almost immediatly.

You probably disturbed it when you fitted the exhaust. Time to buy a new one.

You've possibly damaged or unplugged the sensor when fitting your exhaust is my guess.
They can be pretty sensitive.

Edit: beaten to it!

So a new one it is? planning on getting a KPRO in the future, can it do any damage with the CEL on at the moment? With the kpro you can disable it right?

I have no idea how fitting a catback you can mess with the lambda. It's gotta be a coincidence.

Me neither, especially as there was no problem for more then 300 Miles. If i would have banged it up it must have caused the cel to go on immediatly i assume.

Is that post or Pre cat sensor?
If post, it's fine to run until you get a kpro.
Post is only there as a check to ensure cat is working. All fuelling is done from ore cat sensor.
