Changing doors

Basically i want to put lighter doors on for one day (drag racing)

Bought a pair and plan to make them light, is it easy to change them?

i want to put standard ones back the next day.

Would there be a lot of problems with the wiring? The wing mirror would be easy to take off and i was thinking all you would need to do is take the rubber tube grommet out of the door and disconnect the wiring blocks and they would come out easy? Maybe refitting the original door may cause a small issue with realignment. How much weight would you save with no door card, lining or window motor switches etc?

Alan are you going to get Perspex windows? One of my windows is scratched badly (I'm not a vulture... honest) Again if ya want a quick hand with this any weekend let me know and will give it a go
