Hi guys, as previously posted, I've been having some temperamental problems...

Checked code today while the engine is running... (the light doesn't come on if the engine isnt running)

Cant find anything for a Cel 38? any one?

The car hits the rev limiter at 3800 ish

Any ideas?

That's what i thought too, but i took a video of flashes and it's deffinately 38! ... Maybe theres a glitch and its the next one 39 which is communication error which makes sense as Paul @ TDI North mentioned it when it went in for mapping!

No idea how to fix this though?

Hi guys, just to update this... the problem was with the OEM ECU / KPRO - broken/loose connection in circuit board.

I had to get CPL Racing to remove the KPRO unit from the stock ECU and solder it to a replacemnt ECU which I had bought through this forum.

This may work, or it may not, but to see if you have the same issue - remove the fuse for the ECU for a few seconds, then replace. (Located in engine bay fuse box) - The car should be back to normal, no codes and should rev to vtec.
- On the next start of the engine (or the one after), the fault should come back.
