Clockwise Motion Drop in fitted, do I need to trim the dipstick?

Chap on another forum had one fitted to his EP3 with Grinspeed, and they trimmed down the dipstick.

I had mine fitted yesterday, and didn't have my dipstick trimmed. (Giggity?)

Do I need to chop it a bit? Is it likely to bend/break off into the sump?

When I fitted my Clockwise motion baffle, I just bent about an inch off the end of the dip stick slightly and the dip stick fits perfectly

I trimmed mine when I had it fitted...
Not a huge amount from what I recall but couldn't tell you how much of the top of my head.

Grinspeed chopped the other one as far as the minimum level dot.

I'll bust the tin snips out tomorrow.
