Coming from an EP3

Hi all,

Im looking to buy a ITR, I previousely owned a EP3 CTR and was wondering whats the difference between them in terms of speed, handling and just overall feel of the car.

Hi mate...performance wise I dont think theres much in it between the two cars but handling is a different matter...in the right hands the teg will win hands down around the twisties, has far more feedback from the road and will show a lot of more powerful cars up ..looks wise...well the EP3 just isnt in the same league,plus the Teg is still pretty rare etc etc

I made the same swap in the summer, and wish id done it sooner.

Better steering, better brakes, interior is nicer, seats are better, and it's a bit quicker, and of course it looks awesome.

I went from an EP3 to my 5 a month ago and was over the moon. I noticed the extra power straight away, and the improved handing, braking, better seating position etc etc

Gear ratios are also slightly shorter (IIRC) so will emphasise the increase in performance :wink:

The 5 can do 60mph in 2nd, the Ep3 can't.

It wouldn't contradict it, it would compliment it.

AFAIK the 1st few ratios are the same anyhow

The DC5 has the same 1/2/3 ratios as the EP3 it is 4/5/6 that are shorter.

The above should read the EP3 4th as 1.147.
