In the 'Specs' section on FAQ's it quotes 'Hard Suspension' as 'Exclusive Use'.
Does that mean it's an option?
Or do all factory Type R DC5's come with the same suspension set up?
Also:
Does anyone know about the factory lightweight DC5 model that deleted aircon and other items including swapping elecy windows for wind up jobbies and saved 76kgs in the process?

Well the suspension was changed from the Pre Facelift to the Facelift, but they would all come with the same suspension depending on when they were made.

I am not sure about the weight, but if you were to remove all of the window motors and the A/C you would most likely save 50+ KG.

I test drove a Racing model, and it was stripped of everything airbags, heater, radio etc. But it did have the standard door panels with electric windows.

'Exclusive use' probably means it's only fitted to that model ie not shared with other models in the range (type-s etc).
