As the title says, I took off my sump today to get my tegiwa baffles welded in and noticed that all the inside of the sump has cracks or stress marks on it.

Just wondering if this is normal as I've never seen an aluminum sump before.

Also if anyone has a picture of how the tegiwa baffles fit in the sump that would be great because I haven't a clue!!!!

Thats pretty normal, wouldn't worry about it.

As for fitting im sure they are a copy of the spoon sump, i can't upload a photo but google has many images :)

I would say that's nothing to worry about and not likely to get anyworse. Could possibly be from casting and the heat from the oil/vibration over time has highlighted the weak areas.

That's normal. Attached the instruction for the baffles. Not the Tegiwa but you get the point
