Crunching :(

Hey guys just noticed tonight that changing from 3rd to 4th whilst in VTEC it crunches but doesn't when out of VTEC…. synchros maybe? also noticed that changing gears in VTEC is quite difficult, which I've been told could be the clutch..

Any advice would be great thanks :)

I mentioned to Sylar that it may be worth upgrading the clutch from OEM seen as it's knackered.

What do you guys think?

Yeah i think il stick with OEM, i wont be getting my car to 300 bhp lol apparently around 155 squids from a guy of the forum for the clutch, as for fitting i haven't a clue, il be writing of a day and doing that myself lol

Isn't it better to have the flywheel changed at the same time? My old DC5 was on 90k mileage and was still on the original clutch :)

Yes I would change the flywheel, it will cost nothing in labour if done at the same time
