DC Sports 4-1 Mani Flexi "De-cat"

Hi guys,

Fitted a skunk2 megapower R yesterday and noticed the previous owner has welded a flexi in place of the cat on the DC Sports 4-1 manifold. This flexi is blowing real bad. I've read online some people use 2 jubilee clips and 2 overlapping baked bean cans but I want this repaired properly. I'm not sure on what the DC sports mani is made from? Can a normal exhaust garage replace the flexi? Thanks in advance

There's no cat on that particular aftermarket manifold in the first place, so flexi is standard....but if the welding looks like its been touched it's probably already had the same thing happen to it in the past and had the flexi replaced. Any exhaust place can / should sort it. Its just stainless steel.

Ah that makes sense. Thanks I'll try book this in at a local garage then.
