b18coupe Advanced Member Messages 143 Sep 25, 2017 #2 they aren't cheap, even on trade they are around £200 from most suppliers. I have had an ep3 alternator on my dc5 for a bit with no issues at all, only fitted it to do trouble shoot an issue that was caused by my lambda sensor shortening out

M Mudgey Advanced Member Messages 158 Sep 25, 2017 #3 Damn, I broke mine trying to take it apart, however I do have an EP3 alternator so will try and strip that down and use the parts from it Good to know the EP3 one will work if I need to get another.
